Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Made To Parlay ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Game Classification

Made To Parlay is an entertainment application in the strategy game category. Task completion data entered by the user serves as input for game mechanics. The application does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Any behavioral changes resulting from use of the application are incidental to gameplay and not guaranteed.

3. No Wellness Claims

The App does not guarantee habit formation, behavioral change, weight loss, fitness improvement, or any health outcome. The App is a game, not a health or wellness tool. Users should consult appropriate professionals for health, fitness, or mental wellness guidance.

You use the App at your own risk. You are solely responsible for the tasks you create, the targets you set, and any actions you take in connection with using the App.

4. User Accounts

You may create an account using Apple Sign-In, Google Sign-In, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

5. Self-Reported Data

All task completion data is self-reported by the user. The App does not verify task completion (except where explicitly integrated with Apple Health or Google Fit). Scores, standings, and outcomes are based on user-reported data and algorithmic generation.

6. Opponent Personas

Opponent personas are fictional game characters. Names provided by the user during league creation are labels for game entities only. The App does not simulate, represent, or make claims about any real person. All persona behaviors, scores, and outcomes are algorithmically generated.

7. Virtual Currency

Chips are a virtual in-game currency with no real-world monetary value. Chips cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for real money, goods, or services outside the App. Unused purchased chips are partially refunded (at 50% value) at the end of each season. Earned and system-granted chips expire at season end with no refund.

8. Subscriptions & Purchases

Parlay Pro Subscription

• Parlay Pro is available as a monthly ($5.99/month) or annual ($49.99/year) subscription
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID, Google Play account, or payment method on file with Stripe

Managing Subscriptions

• iOS: Manage or cancel via Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
• Android: Manage or cancel via Google Play Store → Subscriptions
• Web: Manage or cancel via your account settings at madetoparlay.com

In-App Purchases

Chip packs are one-time in-app purchases. All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or the policies of the applicable app store.

9. AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate commentary, Coach insights, and season recaps. AI-generated content is for entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content. AI-generated commentary does not constitute advice of any kind.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or infrastructure
• Create opponent personas with names intended to harass, defame, or impersonate real individuals in a harmful manner
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities for unfair advantage

11. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI models, scoring algorithms, and content, is owned by Made To Parlay. You retain ownership of the task descriptions and persona names you create, but grant us a license to use this data to operate the Service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Made To Parlay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App. We are not responsible for any health outcomes, behavioral changes, or personal consequences resulting from tasks you set or complete through the App.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately, and your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
